I have a Polk Surroundsound III Home Theater system, I am having a difficult time with volume control of the sound bar.
The difference between (1) dot on the volume control and the sound goes from a whisper level to a football stadium level of sound. I cannot get a NORMAL level of sound.
Is there any way to control volume better?

What is the source that you're using for the soundbar? Can you lower its output level? That might help(??).

I am using the sound at for my sound. As you increase volume small white lights appear on the sound bar as you go higher, or disappear if you lower the sound.
When I get between (3) and (4) sound level lights on the sound bar display, the volume increases substantially to a level that is too high. -
The (3) light sound level is too low.
