Faulty Display

The display on my I-sonic ES2 radio has become very dim over the last few months. Adjusting the brightness and contrast is not effective. Would the display screen require replacement?

Due to the age of the product, I wouldn't say it is faulty but it may have burnt out. Screens and lights are wearable products.
