Rta 11t xo upgrade

I've found lots of useful information on this project but no up to date list and none of the pictures or external links work. Does anyone have this project saved they can send to me. They are actual 11t with sl2000 I plan to upgrade the speakers to push sl3000 to match my 1.2tl's

The information is in this link. You'll need to compare inductors to see if you'll need to upgrade an indicator or two to be able to go to the sl3000/RD0198 tweeter. You'll also need to replace a tweeter quick connect to accommodate the new tweeter.

Did the 11TL's midwoofers change from the 11T's like the 8TL's did vs 8T's?

Well it's an effort for sure, but you can go click the links, I'm sure you'll find your answer.
To the best of my memory they both used mw6510

    Guess that'd be a NO/Negative for the 11s...
until one day someone opens theirs up and 6516's abound. Vintage Polk mysteries never cease.

They use the same MW6510 but I believe the PRs are different and obviously the tweeters are different.

Good too know about the PR differences.
I procured a full set of 6516s to try in a set of 11s if they come along anytime soon.

  • I ordered everything to convert them to TL, I called Polk about ordering rd0198 and the rep couldn't make sense of what I was asking for and I was put on a call back list. Has anyone ordered these straight from Polk recently?

Call back, Polk CS has mostly been outsourced to call centers.

Their CS knowledge only goes back to the latest soundbar offering.
