Subwoofer has failed, has static occasionally and no output, the led stays red. Initial measurement with a DVM indicates +/- 57VDC is ok however there is high level of AC on one side of these supplies. Will use a scope to determine frequency and amplitude.
From what I have seen on this forum most problems are due to capacitor failures. I will replace all electrolytic caps but would like to see a schematic diagram for this unit. Has anybody experienced other component failures (mylar caps and semis?)? Can anyone share a schematic and layout diagram?
Thanks

Polk keeps the schematics for these types of items in house. Most people simply upgrade when they go South.
Not sure when this was made or if it's under warranty.....if it is, send the plate amp back in for service or replacement.
If not, now would be a good time to consider an upgrade in your future.
