Soundbar 4000 Remote No Longer Working

I’ve had this for a couple of years or so. Had misplaced the remote, but have recently found it. The remote no longer operates the soundbar. I changed the battery and still no luck. Is there a trick to connect the remote to the soundbar?

Thanks! I tried all of these and nothing worked. At least not for the Soundbar 4000. Must be dead.

I referred this to a friend at Polk and unfortunately they don't have any replacement remotes for the 4000.
