I saw her in the fall of 74 and again about ten years ago at New Orleans Jazzfest. I preferred her voice to Stevie Nicks. That new Chevy EV commercial exemplifies it.

She was always one of my favorites. First saw her in 1969? at the Crown pub in St. Margarets in the London 'burbs when she was Christine Perfect and was with Chicken Shack.

Yeah, heard this driving down to Boston yesterday. Very sad news indeed.

Saw someone on teh webz yesterday describe her (with respect to Fleetwood Mac) as the grownup in the room -- which was my impression, too. She always seemed a little detached from that druggy soap opera.

I remember years ago when I first heard Chicken Shack with her singing and didn't know of her work before the version of Fleetwood Mac after Peter Green fried out his brain. Her unique voice was immediately identifiable from the late 1960s onwards.

Very sad to see this when I checked the news yesterday. Great talent and will be missed by many.

The last time I saw Fleetwood Mac she didn't come with them because she hated flying. I was so disappointed as they didn't play any of her songs in the concert that I liked.

If there's a Rock and Roll Heaven they just got a great addition.

This is such sad news. I consider Christine the primary creative force behind Fleetwood Mac…. As much as I love the band, I never could really stand Stevie - I think she was a Prima Dona and hogged much more of the spotlight than she was due.

Rest In Peace Mrs. McVie - your creativity will live with us forever, and you will never be forgotten.
