Magnifi Max Volume

I've had my Magnifi Max SR for several months and it works very well. I have it connected through HDMI ARC to a TCL 6 Roku TV. The only issue I'm having is that I don't get a lot of low volume adjustment. The TCL shows volume as a number and the difference between 0 (no sound) and 1 (lowest sound) seems too great. Is there a way of adjusting the Magnifi so its biased to lower volumes?

What happens when you leave the TV's volume set at 1 or 2 and make level adjustments with the Polk?
