Sounds like a good name for a housing development
"Morning Woods" sounds better for a housing development, but the idea of more than one at any given time is worrisome. -

Looks like crotch aka flame mahogany.Political Correctness'.........defined
"A doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical minority and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a t-u-r-d by the clean end."

Close, crotch walnut. From Aaron's @ALL212 dad's tree farm. Hand rubbed, Tung oil. I love the different appearance throughout the day as lighting changes. I was nervous about it splitting routing between the corners of the base, but it held together.
I have a matching crotch walnut turntable plinth I need to finish for the Lenco idler drive. It will be stuffed with layers of Baltic Birch. It will be a PTP build, bearing and motor plate separate.

Those are beautiful Bottlehead bases. Would love to do that for my Paramounts. -
Nice grain and color. If your wife is anything like mine, you shouldn't leave that block near the fireplace or chiminea.Don't take experimental gene therapies from known eugenicists.

His fireplace was dismantled and now houses all of his audio gear. No worries about that happening.
Tom~ In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence. ~ -
