RIP to a best friend

12 years ago, I stumbled upon a lady selling a litter of puppies in a parking lot. There was maybe 8 of them and they were all playing with each other going nuts.

One of them breaks from the pack and just stares at me like I'm the greatest thing in the world. I ask, how much, $30. I guess she was the one.

Since day one, she always followed me around and was perhaps the greatest companion you could imagine.

The past five years she has fought a skin condition but the past three months has been particularly tough and the past few days it took a turn for the worse.

I had to say good bye today and she will be missed terribly.

She was named Sidney, after my nickname here.

Thank you for reading my story.

I'm sorry you lost your GREAT friend and companion.

Great story of how you two met. It was "meant to be" for you two to meet on that day, that hour and that minute.

I truly believe in devine human/pet connections and interactions.

She sure looks happy in that picture. ;)

    Again, sorry. :'(

You can tell by her face that she loved the life you gave her. Losing a 4-legged friend is one of the hardest things to experience but I'll adopt another knowing how much joy each of them brings us over time.
