Polk React soundbar turns volume up by itself randomly

I have a react soundbar connected to my Sony Bravia TV through eARC port.
I witnessed this today my kid was watching youtube on the TV and the sound bar just started turning itself up, the remote was not being touched and no phones were controlling it or anything. It went from 7 vol to 44 vol before I could get the remote and start turning it down.
Has anyone experienced this before?
It does not seem to be a replicatable problem and seems random sadly.
Any suggestions on a fix to stop this would be fantastic.
Thanks

Hello,
I'll forward this to a friend at Polk to see if he has any ideas. It might be early next week before he can reply. -
Hello,
I heard from Polk this morning and he recommended resetting the soundbar by unplugging it from the wall outlet (I would do the sub as well) wait a few minutes reconnect and see what happens. Let us know the results. -
I had the same problem a couple of times, but thought I was imagining it. Also my Alexa volume is extremely low and I cant get it corrected even after resetting the bar (i.e. cannot raise her volume). I have a question in the queue on this topic, I wonder if it's related to the volume turning up randomly. Ghost in the machine!

Having same problem here with brand new S4. Someone suggested turning on HDMI CEC on my Sony Bravia, but I can't find that option on my TV.
