    What doesn't seem worthwhile?

Don't use specs alone when looking at gear, you have to listen.

I'm not sure what you're getting at....but if they're trying to charge $349 for a 202 then it's definitely NOT worthwhile...

the prices are CAD thats why they might seem high..I have a 202 but my wife saw the velodyne cht10 open box....I don't know if its better to go with the cht or keep the 202 and down the line buy a svs or hsu.... if I dont get the cht maybe upgarding the mains rti4 to rti6 might be a better upgrade than the sub

Maybe a correction to the PSW202 specs would help your decision. Here's the correct range:

    Overall Frequency Response 40 - 200Hz
    Lower -3dB Limit 45
    Upper -3dB Limit 180
    Crossover Variable 80 - 200Hz
Inputs Speaker level and line level
    Outputs Speaker level pass-through
    40hz - 200hz
    Home:
    Denon AVR-1803
    Polk CSi30
    Polk RTi70
    Polk RTi28
    Polk PSW-303

    Car:
    Kenwood KDC-BT945U
    RF Punch P400-4
    Polk MM6501
    Polk MM651
    RF Punch P300-1
    Boston Acoustics G312-4

the cht 10 is in the same league as the psw 404. You can't compare the 202 to it, and yeah, it probably is a worthwhile upgrade if you're unsatisfied with your bass, and I think you'll probably notice a bigger difference then upgrading your rti 4's to rti 6's, but that's just one man's opinion.

its not that Im not satisfied I know Im missing out on how low the bass can go...hmmm stuck now..what to upgrade first....fronts or sub

If I go the main route wont the csi3 seem a tad whimpy with the rti6s??

    Not at all...

why not just hold on to your money for a bit and upgrade to a HSU or SVS?

guess the upgrade bug is itchin real bad...maybe keep as is and getter a much better sub a bit later...shoot

See I'd replace my r10's in rear with the 4's and 6's up front , the r10s are good but not up to par with the rest of the system

Then your speakers will be voice matched and all grills will match being from the rti/csi lines.

I have the rti6's with the csi3 in the center and fxi3's in the rear and the sound stage is great.

maybe I should just look at some fxi3's for the back and keep my 4's for now

I've found that if you just hang onto your cash for a little while you usually end up finding a better deal.... Like I was almost going to buy a pair of rti6's for 500 cdn (before tax) but I held off.... Week after that I had a pair of lsi7's coming my way for somwhere between 400 and 500 cdn. Just and idea.

i think the fxi3's are awesome! The rti6's should add a little something to the front sound stage over the 4's though.

Tough choice. I say get the fxi3 (greater improvement over current rears IMO), then tell your wife you want the 6's for fathers day. If you don't have kids, nows a good time. If you don't have a wife, back to a tough choice.

The Velodyne isn't a bad sub at all. I had the CHT-8, and I thought it was a definite improvement over the 202. I've only listened to the 10 at Circuit City, and I thought it did an admirable job with movies. It's much, much better than the 202, and it's right up there with the PSW404.
