Breaking these down to be refinished...

    1.5 inch thick front baffle

Interesting v shaped braces I'm assuming to break up standing waves

    Insanely well constructed enclosure

I had read an article on that material, it was said that it was so hard on tooling that the carbide bits would dull rather quickly. One of the cost of buying Wilson speakers with those materials is retooling and sharpening of those tools.

I use the plural of material because I vaguely remember there was two of those materials with single letter names.

    Good stuff!

Correct, they have 3 or 4 different materials they use depending on the application.

I forget all of the letters.

I'll take more photos along the way but I don't recall ever seeing interior Wilson photos so pretty neat

What does the X material seem like it is made of?

Basically... X material is usually used for bass enclosures.

Then they have the s material for midrange

And there is a M material as well I believe

    Cool stuff!

Yeah it used to be just for the bass enclosure but then I believe most of their new stuff is all x material even for midrange and tweeter enclosures

They also have V material for structural plates now

Lots of options depending on the application.

I stand by Wilson makes some of the best enclosures in the market. You could use the Duette enclosure as blocks in a foundation
