Spoke to Bud again today and it sounds like he is in good spirits. He said it would be fine for me to provide an update on his behalf.
Unfortunately, the reason for his leave of absence in July/August is because he suffered another stroke.
So, while he is alive and kicking at home now, he's just been trying to recover from some health issues related to that. He's just been relaxing and doing a lot of reading on his iPad and watching a few things on his home theater. And of course, taking care of his cats and enjoying their company. I'm encouraged by his positive attitude and fighting spirit.
Let's all keep Bud in our thoughts and hope for a full recovery! -
