No remote, but any Marantz CDP remote should work to control it, or of course Harmony/universal remote. LCD screen super dim but functional which is a common issue with these. Condition is about a 7/10 which means it's pretty good for its age but a little rough around the edges. Can provide photos for seriously interested parties.

These are the tubes (or a close relative) it has installed: https://tubedepot.com/products/6922-e88cc-siemens

It has a very nice sound. That's kinda why I priced it a little higher, wouldn't be terribly upset to keep this one around even though it's not getting used at the moment.

Kinda surprised there's been zero interest on this one. Nobody wants to try out a nice sounding tubed disc spinner?

I could use a tube CD player. I always wanted to hear this one as it got good press.
    Oh wait, never mind.

I prefer to bolt the player spindle firmly to the table, then the CD is immobilized and the player spins.
    Tremendous PRaT.
    Jaw-dropping really.
    Highly recommended.

    Umm, on topic.
Yeah, like @F1nut -- we still spin the polycarbonate discs at the Hardy household sometimes, too.

Here's a few photos of it sitting on top of another CD player that I don't use enough. Overall I'd say the player is in very good condition for it's age.

If this isn't sold by the end of the week, I'll buy it. I need to wait for a check to clear my account before I pull the trigger on this CD player.

Cool, just a reminder it does not come with a a remote control.

That's okay. It won't need one where my system is setup.

The CD player arrived today and I have been listening to it since I got home from my business trip to West Virginia at around three o'clock. It's eight o'clock now. I will have to invest in some quality interconnects before I can fully appreciate what it is capable of. Right now I am using a pair of AQ turquoise RCA cables that have always sounded grainy to me in the highs. This CD player is dead quiet for sure! I kept turning the volume up and absolutely no noise was coming from my speakers. Thank you so much for a great deal!

Have fun and enjoy. Last time I hooked it up I used Mogami 2964 RCAs.

How long of a cable do you need? I think I might have a pair or two that would be better than the AQ. PM me if interested. No worries if you’re not.

BTW, I’m also a beneficiary of a great from Drew. Enjoy the player.

I'm thinking about selling this CD player that I purchased from @Clipdat about a year ago. It has been packed away since I purchased an Oppo player and really deserves to be used. I purchased a remote for it. Other than that, it is in the same condition as seen here. Everything that came with it will be included. It will be double boxed for safe shipping. Same price $300.00 plus actual shipping. For established members with 100 or more posts.
