They are claiming that Klipsch is the number one speaker brand in the world. That's a lot of bad sound.
That would make a great slogan!
Image above is one of the Klipsch wallpapers -- they do have some amusing ones.

PAC wrote:Demand for Onkyo and Integra products is very high, and we expect this to intensify in the coming years. We have been working very closely with Sharp to ramp up production and have grown our business significantly in the eight months since the acquisition was completed. We have big plans for these brands and are working diligently to expand production and reach to meet growing consumer demand. Rumors to the contrary are simply unfounded and misleading.
The PAC portfolio is comprised of some of the most legendary and revered brands such as: Klipsch, Jamo, Onkyo, Pioneer, Pioneer Elite, Integra, Magnat, Heco, Teac, and Esoteric.
I guess all will have to wait and see how it goes with those brands.
I thought they made a nice product in the older TX-NR5008, TX-NR3008 units I had. If they just could have figured out the HDMI issues but good for them for trying to correct the situations via free repairs. Not sure how the new stuff is doing or compares.
Here's the flagship TX-NR5008, $2699 Retail, rated at 145 watts x 9, Has three transformers with the main being a HUGE toroidal style, 55.1 lbs. in teardown. Had to repair some blown channels when I had it.
2.2 Office Setup | LG 29UB55 21:9 UltraWide | HP Probook 630 G8 | Dell Latitude | Cabasse Stream Amp 100 | Boston Acoustics VS 240 | AUDIORAX Desk Stands | Mirage Omni S8 sub1 | Mirage Omni S8 Sub2 -

It's not a receiver, it's a parts bin for capacitors!
EDIT: obviously (I hope!) I'm just joshing. That's a very nice looking if frighteningly complex receiver.

The receiver manufacturers went a little nuts when HDMI connections first came out. Denon 5805.
Proper internal heat management sometimes wasn't handled right and those processing chips could put out some heat. And every input had to have multiple connection options.

To quote the poet,
Every business dies, that's a fact.Speakers: Polk Lsim, ATC SCM19 v2, NHT SuperzeroSpeaker Cables: DH Labs, Transparent, Wireworld, Canare, Monster: Beer budget, Bose ears -
I gotta be honest here, I'm sick and tired of seeing companies go down. I really hope Onkyo / Integra stick around. They have made some fantastic gear over the years. The R1.1 receiver is a beast and sounds amazing.Dan
My personal quest is to save to world of bad audio, one thread at a time. -
