Signa S2 and Sony X80K Series

I have not been successful getting my Sony TV to play sound through my Signa S2. The soundbar is connected via HDMI in the ARC/eARC port on the TV. I have changed the settings on the TV to use Audio System, as well as set the eARC port to Auto. Any suggestions for further settings adjustment?

    The response:

    "This could be a TV issue so see if he can connect using the optical cable to confirm the bar is working.
    I would disconnect it while both the TV and bar are off, then reconnect it again. Sounds like the TV is not recognizing the external bar connection so a hard reset may help.
    Another option is connecting it to another TV using HDMI (ARC) to confirm working condition."
