changing things up, again.

Since redoing my upstairs, the hardwood floors are proving to be challenging, sound wise, even with a big rug . So just going to start from scratch. The Ht stuff hasn't been used in like 2 years. If you have a wife, you know what I mean....it's too loud, blah blah.

Polk LSI9's cherry sides, 7/10 condition- asking 400
Polk Sig 20's, black, like new- asking 200
Pioneer VSX 32 receiver, like new-150
SVS SB2000- like new, only used for about 5 movies-500
Acoustic Zen Satori speaker cables- 8ft spades and banana on amp side-400
Acoustic zen Matrix IC's, first version with the silver plugs- 250
Pangea speaker stands-28 in. black 50 bucks.
B&K Reference 4420- power light stays on a few seconds after powering off, no affect on sound whatsoever asking 400

Cables no problem shipping, but prefer not to on the heavier stuff. If your coming to the audio show in Chicago this weekend I can meet you otherwise willing to drive to meet up. Pics to come, may consider trades depending, doesn't hurt to ask.

Are you north or south or other? I’m interested in the stands but I don’t know if I’d go much further than the northern burbs.

Also, what is the size of the top plate on the stands? I have 703’s but I’m not sure if I should assume a stand for a lsi9 would necessarily work. I better go look up specs…

Interest in the Pangea stands. How would we meet up and I'm flexible on timing of pick up. Which model?

    Thanks

I see plainoldave beat me to the stands. If he's not interested I'll take them. We can work out the logistics later.

It's not like we haven't swapped audio gear on the side of the road before Tony...lol

I'm in Algonquin, the stands...they are the standard Pangea 3 pole design, black. Not sure if there is a name for them.

I’ll let Heiney9 snag them. I can’t make that drive until next weekend and I don’t want to hold up your sale.

Edit: if you are willing to wait AND if heiney passes on them, I’ll get them next week or weekend. I could probably do it Monday morning 😬

    Cool stuff here, Tony!

Always wanted to check out LSi9s since LSi7s sound sooo nice on MF gear with a sub, but too many speakers. Cherry version's beautiful, too.

Those Pangea stands are nice, and that's an great price for them. Easy to massload; solid.
For the buyer, here's a build thread I did on them a while back
    https://forum.polkaudio.com/discussion/170506/pangea-speaker-stands-build-ds300-28-inch/p1

Quick note - I've found that to be normal with that era B&K amps.

    I disabled signatures.

Are you sure? I don't want to poach your sale, but these are perfect for what I need. Tony, I'll PM you to work out the details if Dave is for sure not taking them.

If you’re ok with me changing my mind, I would buy them. I have one set of very flimsy stands right now and I won’t put the lsim on them because they’ll definitely tip over. They don’t really hold the rt25i properly. Is that ok, h9? Here’s my current setup: 😂

Ok, Dave my man, I need a commitment since you expressed first interest, otherwise H9 is ready. Being a tall stand, a heavy speaker is going to have a more tip over probability especially around kids and dogs. You can grab an idea from here....Please tell me one way or the other, because H9 has time tomorrow and that works for both of us. Just trying to be fair here, hope you understand.

Tony blew that one, the stands are 32's not 28's. Amazing what a tape measure can tell you. So dave, if your still interested say so and Brock , figure the height and see if they might still work. Sorry for the screw up gents.
