Upgraded TV but my Signa 2.0 Soundbar doesn't sound the same

Hello,
I have had a Signa 2.0 soundbar for several years and love it. I recently upgraded my TV (same brand but newer model) and the sound quality has diminished. I had a 55 inch Vizio M-series (10+ years old) and bought a Vizio 65 inch P-Series Quantum LED.
I plan to add a receiver and surround sound system eventually, but I don't understand why the same soundbar on a newer TV doesn't sound as good???

What about the sound is different?

It's not as powerful nor is the quality as good. Another odd thing, which I would not have cared about if it sounded good, is that when I had it on volume level 30 or above when connected to my old TV the sound was powerful and immersive. However, I have to crank the volume much higher (into the 40's) to even get it as loud as it was before.
