I know I'm going to regret this but I'm going in another direction.
I really would like to see this go to a fellow Polkie to enjoy.
I'm looking into a new streamer/DAC combo...Lumin & Aurender are on my list. Other recommendations appreciated. These funds will be helpful in this endeavor.
For now I will be using the DAC in the Blue sound Node 2i (actually not half bad sounding)
Now back to the BP...superb sounding. Very musical, analog sounding. There are a ton of reviews on the DAC.
The SE-i version is Gary's latest with Jupiter beeswax film & foil signal capacitors & a custom R-core power transformer, a ELNA Cerafine power supply reservoir capacitor.
The unit does not come with a PC...Gary does not ship with one. He figures your only going to put your own on.
There is one issue though. When I went to pop the hood to peek at the goodies inside I stripped the one screw (top left hand corner). Visible in the pics. I messed with it for awhile but with no success. Then again I'm not mechanically inclined.

No...I tried it a few times but with no luck. I think I stripped it pretty good. You probably need a special tool of some kind for this. Not being mechanically inclined I left it alone.
If someone knows what they're doing & with the proper tool it's probably not a big deal.
