Polk Woodbourne Hard Reset Options?

So this forum is my last shot I guess at salvaging my Woodbourne. The speaker looks like it has been bricked. The speaker does not go into standby when plugged in. It immediately illuminates the OPT mode but in green not blue and two of the volume bars are illuminated in blue. I have tried the ethernet connection to access the software but it looks like a CPU issue based on the display and is not accessible. I was hoping maybe if I hard reset it then it may rollback to some previous software version embedded into the chip and allow it to be just plugged in with the aux cable again at least.

I'll refer this to a friend at Polk.

Unfortunately, Polk is not aware of any solution for this issue.

Yay. I now have a sexy brick. Crazy that this just becomes trash now and my pops' monitor 7s (I think) still work and sound good — not excellent lol, but good. I wish I had the knowledge to to do surgery on it. :-/
