Is it a good idea to use S 35 Polk as centre & front speakers

I am trying to build 5.1 surround system in my bedroom. I have some shortage of space & so considering S35 as centre, front right & left speaker. Rear shall be S 20 or S 15 speakers.

Pls let me know if its great combination. If this S 35 is not the best choice then with some civil work I can manage to put S 20 on both back & front. Use S 35 only as centre speaker.

Please help out to get the best of the home theatre experience.

Thanks a lot folks.

The C, L & R receive a separate dedicated signal, therefore you cannot feed 3 separate channels into one speaker.

I think he was proposing using 3 S35's for his front stage. I'm using an S35 for my center. The manual mentioned mounting them vertically to use as mains. How it would sound, hard to say.

He refers to the S35 in the singular.

It almost looks like he thinks the S35 can be used as a surround bar type speaker?

I also have a S35 center, but cannot comment on how it would perform as L & R channels but why not? Using them [mounted] vertically should be fine, just would not expect much in the way of bass without a separate sub. My $.02
So, are you willing to put forth a little effort or are you happy sitting in your skeptical poo pile?
