Polk CS400i vs 5jr?

Hello, I have a pair of original 5jr's with the front port. I just glued the magnets and they are sounding great. Someone local to me just posted a pair of CS400i's for sale at $120/pr. What are your thoughts on those speakers compared to the 5jr's? Upgrade, downgrade or side..grade? He said all the drivers are sounding great and that he can demo. I know that they were originally a center channel but thought a pair may make a nice desktop rig. Thanks

    Can’t compare the two sonically, but the CS400 & CS400i are terrific center channel speakers. However, they are very large, so hardly ideal for a desktop rig! 😳

    Thank you! That was my thread. I didn't know where exactly to post because at first i didn't realize how old the CS400's are. Guess they should be in the vintage category....? I know the early monitor series should be.
