It could also have to do with the number of output transistors, their peak power ratings, and how well they are heat sinked. Ohms law still applies; they just chose to give peak amps instead of peak power into various impedance loads.

I only know of two people who moved on from Musical Fidelity after acquiring a piece. I hate their guts anyway, so it worked out fine.I disabled signatures.

@rooftop59 was telling me about a 2ch pre/pro that offers Dirac Live room correction. Something else to consider.
I love the sound of my arcam sr250, and yes in my room with my gear it sounded better in some ways than my nad/a308 combo. But in my huge room with two diy subs the Dirac live is a game changer. And I wanted 4K video integration…but this piece is out of budget and really only for a dual purpose system.
