Polk S8's
Does anyone have the OEM schematic for the crossover in the Polk S8's. I bought a set many years ago. They sit idle, stored away and am considering installing newly rebuilt crossovers. Thanks.

Well I tried to just post it, my phone had other plans.
You're welcome.
Lots of good info in the section of the forum -
I have it on good authority from the designer of the S series (personal friend) that the S8 was the sweet spot of the line. I happen to have a pair of S8 and find them very listenable and non fatiguing. I upgraded the caps in the crossover from the electrolytic to Sonicaps and they sprang to life. The only down side that I see to them is the plastic bessel that tends to crack. Other than that, they are very underrated speakers.Stan

Stan, Hey, thanks for the insight. I’m going to start with a 4 dollar polypropylene cap and some fresh 14
gauge wire. The manufacture date on the crossover is 1992. Don’t expect the world but I’m looking forward to see if anything changes. Oh, quick question….does “your friend” recommend staying at the stock 4.7uF value on the cap? Thanks. Rob

I would stick with the original value.Stan
