So I have to show my ignorance, I knew nothing about Aimee Mann, I had no idea what I was getting, LOL!! I literally picked up this SACD because of this thread, I like it, a lot of it reminds me of Sheryl Crow..
Thanks..
There is an Aimee Mann Lost in Space Special Edition 2 disc CD set that is somewhat rare. The 2nd disc is full of great tunes. Really not sure why the original CD and SACD were not 2 disc sets.
Another Amiee Mann SACD worth getting is Bachelor No. 2.Political Correctness'.........defined

I enjoy the three Aimee Mann albums I have.
Slightly on topic, I ventured out to a B&N store today only because I received a 20% off one item coupon.
Prices of CD's very high there. Some marked $5.99 and $9.99 might find a good one occasionally. Decent selection of new vinyl.
I had one CD @ $15.99 picked out, then I saw the CSN&Y Deja Vu 50th anniversary record $99.99.
It really tempted me with 20% off $99.99, but I resisted and left with one CD. I have many versions of Deja Vu already. Has anyone heard the 50th anniversary vinyl? -

$8k or so for 250 some odd records. Time to sell? I couldn't. I think. Maybe it's getting close to my can't resist point though 😂afterburnt wrote: »They didn't speak a word of English, they were from South Carolina.

I'd be buying it specifically for the record, not the CD. I don't think it would be a good idea to break
up a set anyway. I'm a tad OCD 'bout those things. Thanks for offering though! -
I've got the 2 CD special edition set....worth it for the second disc for sure. For the album though, the MOFI SACD is sublime. The standard CD is good....but once you listen to the SACD, you won't listen to the CD again.I plan for the future. - F1Nut

I just discovered that Aimee Mann is the female voice in Rush's, "Time Stand Still". This was released in 1987, back during her 'Til Tuesday...days."This may not matter to you, but it does to me for various reasons, many of them illogical or irrational, but the vinyl hobby is not really logical or rational..." - member on Vinyl Engine

I did not know that!
I remember that video. Just checked it out again. She's in it, too. If you look it up, try not to laugh. It was probably pretty cool for the 80s. I remember really liking that song. Pink Floyd had Learning To Fly out around the same time.I disabled signatures. -
