Bluetooth sound quality, or cast over Wifi?

I have a Polk Magnifi 2 soundbar, and it plays flawlessly over bluetooth from either of our two android phones.
However, most of the time, but not always, when we try to play music over bluetooth from either of our two Windows 10 laptops, in the same room, and same distance 20-25' away, it stumbles and misses beats and generally just seems like a bad connection.
This occurs both when playing music in Mediamonkey and same issue when streaming in Web Browser.
Any ideas on how to improve the connection from the PC?
Should I be able to cast over wifi from laptop to soundbar? If so soundbar is connected to my wifi network, and has downloaded latest updates using Google Home, but it does not appear as a device in windows networking. Any ideas on that issue?

I should add that moving the PC closer to the sound bar makes no difference

I recommend calling 1-800-377-7655 and follow prompts to soundbar assistance.

I was hoping for some input from someone who might have experienced this specific condition, which I expect is a bit unusual.
