While I do appreciate the banter on this, there is a damn good reason I am selling these, you will just have to trust me on that

If you must know or are an interested buyer, send me a PM and I will explain

What finish combo did you go with?

Gloss black but I am thinking of switching to either the dark gray/walnut or black/walnut Problem is the shade of walnut is different in every picture I see. I have darker walnut accents in the room (including my stand) so I am worried they will be totally off. The black is a bit plain for me but is the safe route and the route with best resale down the road. Decisions are tough

Congrats! Just the other day I ran across an audiophile YouTube channel and the guy was playing a cool track by the Black Pumas called 'Colors'. He had a white set of No. 2, but seems to change gear out frequently for the channel I guess...

The dark grey mat / walnut finish takes on a bluish tint in these picture. I think its pretty cool looking.

The gloss black would be my pic, but I have to say those white ones look great!!! I just could never do the blue..

They also have color shifting finishes. I seen them at both RMAF & Axpona.

I have come to a decision I believe. Think I'm doing the gloss front with the gloss walnut cabinet

I think they function better and look better without the grilles on them. The tweeter grille is fixed in place. In the photo above that pair has the aftermarket Isoacoustics Gaia II feet on them. I've got those on three pairs of speakers now.

    :)

I like that choice...the mesh weave on the mid and woofers blends with that walnut cabinet

Even with blue being my favorite color, I would have to think long and hard before going in that direction.... not that I'm in the market for $10K speakers, LOL! If I were.... these would have to be end game as resell would be a concern.

Still, at that price level, one might want to make sure they work with the room décor if going with a color like blue.

Blue would look cool in some rooms!

My My My is that an attractive speaker! The flax cones really bring the black, chrome, and walnut together. And the BDI furniture in the background looks great and really brings out the walnut and fits the modern look of the speakers.

I'd like to have acoustic panels that looked like the fronts

I pulled a bit of an audible. One of my buddies told me to get in contact with Precision AV in Chicago, they are an authorized Focal Dealer and had a pair of gently used Kanta 3's in all black in stock for a price I could not refuse. So Kanta 3's will be here within a week or two! The 2's would have taken 3-4 months to get in and the price ended up being the same, so win for me there

Definitely agree! But they are more expensive and probably don't sound as good considering all the mods Trey put into that pair he has for sale. But damn are they purdy

  • I have both the polk audio lsim707 and the l600 and the performance of both is greatly enhanced when you add equalization.. I am amazed how each sound.. the L600 has a more defined bass sound but the L707 has a very satisfying too.. I am greatly satisfied.. and the R700 also sound great too.. I use the dbx2231 equalizer with the forementioned speakers.. oh and least I forget I have the lsim 705 also and they are equally as great in their performance...
