I have had a pair of the Omen Dirty Weekends for a few years now. They look great (IMHO), sound fantastic and are very easy to drive. My wife has claimed my set and she spends a few hours listening to them every day.

I really lust after the Souls. I’ve never had the opportunity to listen to any Zu’s. But lust after them none the less.See my profile for list of gear.

In a word? Congested.
Tom~ In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence. ~ -
The problem for me in hearing the ZU's at RMAF is it seems they were really there to just party, nothing was really set up so to speak, but I still thought they sounded decent, they were definitely the party room at RMAF, especially in the evening..Polk Audio SDA 2.3tl Fully Hot Rodded. 😎

Yeah -- one of those acquired taste loudspeaker design philosophies... a la the Colonel's "Heritage" Klipsch models. They're exciting to listen to, and even exhiliratingly enjoyable with some recordings, but deeply flawed and colored when compared to reality.
There are so many other, better, high-sensitivity loudspeakers relative to my ears and taste. Thar said, the Zu loudspeakers are still fairly popular, and I cannot really begrudge them that. Same as Klipsch, I suppose -- and I even, on my darker days, still wish I had, e.g., a pair of Heresys, just for the undeniable fun that they can be under just th right circumstances.
Klipsch, bless their hearts, do seem at peace with their legacy.
Language alert for the sensitive or easily... well... PO'd
