He is wrong on the board. THAT is a red board. The red/blue board has nothing to do with the physical color of the actual board. (They both had an actual blue board) The red/blue board is about the color of the actual capacitors on the board. Look and you'll see red jelly bean caps instead of blue. The red boards were Taiwan the blue cap boards were made in the USA

The units with the blue circuit boards were made in the USA and were the older units.
The reddish circuit board units are the newer units and are made in Taiwan and are much less reliable.
