I just upgraded the magnifi max SR, before there was 132, now it's 136, I'll test with some film tomorrow and check if this update has solved the rear speaker problems.

false alarm, pops pops and crackles keep popping up, this firmware update is not for the rear speakers ☹️☹️☹️
  • Ive been through 3 bars they say is the cause of the issues with subwoofer and surrounds and nothing has been solved.

Are you sure you're looking at the System Version, because that's still 132. Also as one of the first owners of this system from Dec 2017, an update about two years ago finally fixed the snap, crackle and pop from the rear speakers. I will reiterate it took almost 18 months for their fix to finally stick.

I also had 132 and Google Home updated to 136, the clicks and pops are still there, but not as much as before. but not 100% perfect yet.

Guess it hasn't him my sb yet. It's a wired connection, so it's surprising it didn't happen already.

The one thing I still hear is a gurgling sound from the bar when low musical passages are playing.
