Digital audio input doesn't work

Hi, I own a Polk Audio Surroundbar 4000. Unfortunately, after a while the sound started to be bad (a lot of noise) and shortly after I was not able to get any sound at all. I tried another optical cable and another TV with the same result. The other sources (headphone-type jack) work fine.

I really like this soundbar, so I was hoping to find a way to fix it. Any idea what could be the cause of this issue?
