My polk s2 sound system not working on new insignia tv. everything is hooked up correctly and have solid green lights on system. What could be the problem? I also have the tv set for optical'

Hello,
You are using a Toslink digital optical cable, correct? Or, are you using an HDMI digital cable? -
I'm using the optical cable that came with the system.

My display has just the white (or clear) optical light showing...

Let me check with a friend at Polk.

His response:
"Have them confirm that the internal TV speakers are disabled.
If they are, have him reset the TV and bar. It looks like the bar is receiving an input signal."
