Why are emails not showing in my Outlook folders?

I know I have saved messages in some Outlook folders, but the folder shows empty? Why and how to fix?

Are you using the Outlook Desktop Client?
Check to see your mail retention setting.
File > Account Settings > Account Settings
In the Email tab, click the account, then click Change
View the Offline Setting for "Download email for the past"
If it's set to something other than All, that's probably why you're not seeing all your mail.
Or you deleted it.

If your profile has a corrupt file in it, it will wreak havoc on your email. Might want to check that.

Also depends on if you were saving messages in folders that reside on the email server, or folders inside a local .pst archive file.

Wound up using the "change View" tool and one by one making sure IMAP was the choice. For some reason all the folders were set at "hide". Strange.....Yep, my name really is Bob.
