My soundbar turns off every time I pause

I'm using Polk Audio MagniFi MAX SR, connected to my samsung tv with optic cable and hdmi (the tv doesn't have arc hdmi). They work perfectly fine, but everytime I pause whatever I'm watching, the soundbar shuts off completely, and when I keep playing, it suddenly turns on, though there's a small delay (as with any electronic device turning on). I found on google solutions, didn't work for me though. Didn't find something about it in the manual too. Am I missing something?

There is an automatic standby feature that happens if there's no incoming signal for approximately 15 minutes.

Well, if it was 15 min it'd be fine... here it literally happens after a few seconds (like 3-5 seconds)

I would send an email to: Kim.Jasper@soundunited.com and explain what's happening.

Thank you!

So... I'm not as smart as I thought I am. My TV model (UE50H6400) did have an HDMI ARC (which was weird in the first place; how come this really sofisticated TV from good old 2016 didn't have this kind of socket???) so I connected it as the manual instructed with ARC socket... and it works!
The reason I didn't find it in the first palce: I didn't notice that another device was connected to it, and today I wanted to organize the cables behind the TV... and noticed a little note with ARC... yeah.
Thank you all for the help, I really do appreciate! Now the TV sounds increadible and I can pause like a human being! -
I'm glad you figured it out, nice when that happens. Enjoy your system!
