Of course. Just like a muffler manufacturer sticker on a car adds 10HP.
What else would you expect?

Don't forget about this sticker...The FIRST sticker I think. We all had it on everything like school notepads and bikes too.
Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them. -
^^^ I certainly did.
FACT: Triodes beat pentodes for musicy goodness. Every day, and twice on Sundays.

Nobody's said anything about flames yet. Flames (painted on, or even just decals) make everything mo' betterer. Real flames may or may not (cf. Pinto, Ford).
Chrome trim is good too. Lots of chrome trim.

Hey Doc, is there a story behind that beautiful amp,or am I thinking of something else’s? It is gorgeous by the way.
See my profile for list of gear. -
I remember there was a guy in high school who had a 66 Chevy II with a 327 350 hp. His friend said he was going to beat my Z/28 because he had just spent several hours washing it. I told him he could spend a month washing it, but he still wouldn't be able to beat my car. I am sure there is -- it's not mine, nor have I ever seen it in the...umm... flesh. That photo was posted at audioasylum many years ago, when the little Maggotbox Magnavox amps were still cheap and plentiful, and hot rodding them was common. -
You know, everybody laughs but I saw an article once, before the Internet happened, in like Popular Science or something where some NASA scientist went through the reasons that the Space Shuttle was kept in a HUGE, climate controlled hangar instead of outside.
He detailed all these reason from dirt adds weight to the disruption of laminar flow over the fuselage caused by dirt increasing drag.
In your car, I doubt the differences are noticeable, just too many other variables. But the NASA guy said that keeping the shuttle clean meant more room for payload and better aero properties meant less fuel spent getting in to orbit. The cost of the climate controlled hangar was peanuts compared to the savings on fuel consumption, it was that significant. But given the cost of rocket fuel vs gasoline, I can see a $10M building being peanuts compared to saving, say, $500K per mission on fuel. At 135 missions, that would have added up quickly. I don't see a significant enough difference for cars to make it a sticking point.
Then he said the same principles can be applied to your car or boat. A clean boat hull moves through the water more efficiently using less fuel and a clean car is lighter and has better aerodynamics using less fuel as well.
I dunno if it helps stereo reproduction but a clean car is certainly faster and more efficient than a dirty car!
