Best bang for the buck sub cable?

I'm using a Monster MB300 right now, is it good? I still have about 10 days to return it.

Any advice for sub cables under $80?
I'm a newbie in the sub sector. My PSW303 is the first real sub that I have ever owned.

Should I use a Y adaptor instead of a LFE cable?

Personally, I've found cables from bettercables.com to be excellent. The Silver Serpent cables are especially good, and their Subwoofer Silver Serpent starts at $45, but you'll probably need to spend a bit more if you need a longer length. I'm sure if you spend the dough to get a reference cable like Signal or Bettercables, that they will all sound just as good, so pick the cheapest or who you're more comfortable dealing with.

The MB300 should be just fine for the 303. Save your $.

I'll upgrade to the PSW505 this weekend.

Will the MB300 still be adequate?

I would personally recomend just taking one step up to the MB400. First of all you get a slightly heavier cable. But even better you get the twist lock ends (better connection) plus a matching Y adapter so that you can experiment and see which you way you prefer it. I think It's worth the extra 5 to 10 bucks, especially when you consider the Y by itself is $15.

Also now that you are getting the 505 I think you might actually be able to hear the difference.

    Enjoy your new toy!!
