I'm a little late to the party on this thread, but thanks Tom for suggesting this! I just added this to my server and the whole album so far is amazing! It's really testing my new Revels (and they are passing with flying colors)
The dynamic range is incredible! I've never had my W4S STP-SE pre up to 40, but it was needed for the soft stuff. Thankfully I have 550wpc into 4 ohms for those peaks!

Not much to say. It works, it's neutral. It's almost like a wire with volume control but it has balls if needed. There are tons of reviews out there and I find nothing to disagree with most of what is already written. For rig details, see my profile. Nothing here anymore... -

Tom,
I just picked up this 2-disc today, have only heard the first 5 tracks on disc 1, and I will say I find tracks 4 & 5 particularly breathtaking.
So, there you go. (but I’m still quite enamored with all the prior discs I posted 😂).CD Players: Sony CDP-211; Sony DVP-S9000ES; Sony UDP-X800M2 (x2); Cambridge Audio CXC

Thanks man, I didn't order any because of the extensive library they offer but I already have one ordered of the one you just posted about. Should be here in about two weeks or so.
I don't recall hearing songs 4 and 5 on any of my albums, so this will be cool for me. On these songs, is it just a guitar with soft orchestral movements or a full fledged orchestra that just so happens to have a guitar as a focal point?
Tom~ In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence. ~ -

Hi, Bill. I do love me the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra/Erich Kunzel and the way they perform. Of course, it may also be the hall in which they record the music that makes them stand out to me. I have a couple of them that I use to grade how well a particular system sounds.
Ordering this one now. Thanks.
Tom

They are concertos for guitar w/orchestral accompaniment. True classical, as opposed to, just a guitar recording with filler like New Age might do.
