Back in the early 2000’s.....Dave and I went from here (SC)to F1’s (MD), to George’s (Exit 5 NJTP) to Lou’s in the shadow of Giants Stadium to drop off a pair of AR9’s and pick up a pair of Quad ESL 63’s that Lou picked up for me and back. Non Stop. Just under 30hrs total (including stops). That was an epic roadtrip.
Pics or it didn't happen. 😆 -
^ THAT is what I am talking about !!!!!

That was a LONG time ago….those Quads are long gone!
That was a good time though….
Ted (reeltrouble1) drove from GA to Texas and back to pick up the pair of Carver Plats that I now have…I plan for the future. - F1Nut -
You guys are hard core!
Had a chance to crank the CRS+ up yet?

21 hour round trip for a pair of Carver Platinum MkIV that I ended up selling to Antny.Political Correctness'.........defined
"A doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical minority and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a t-u-r-d by the clean end."

Yep, they have impressed a few friends and me too. I have not ran them exactly like they should be positioned quite yet as I have a few sets in rotation right now. Backed pretty far away from the back wall and they still have tremendous bass for the size of the speakers. I do like them. They are Polk SDA's ! Just what the Dr. ordered ! They even sound even better with the Krell KSA-150 and the Aragon 28k II I picked up recently. I am in Hillbilly Heaven. You guys are hard core!
