React Soundbar breathing yellow light with disconnect sound

I have the react soundbar plugged into the Earc hdmi port on my TV and the sound is great, however occasionally there will be, as best as I can describe it, a disconnect sound played over what I’m watching. The front of the soundbar has a breathing yellow light where the volume is displayed when you change the volume. The TV sound continues to play with no other issues, just occasionally (once or twice an hour) it will play that disconnect sound.
I’ve tried several settings on my tv (65” tcl 65r635) and several different settings on the soundbar to no avail. I don’t see anything in the manual about it so I’m hoping posting this might find me an answer on how to stop the sound playing.

Yellow light means you have a Alexa notification. Just ask Alexa "what are my notifications?" and it should go away
