POLK DSB1 SOUNDBAR AUTO TURNING OFF

I have had my polk DSB1 soundbar for a couple of years and for about 1.5 years it auto shuts off after about 15 minutes of use. I only shuts off using Digital Optical cable but it also has problems with freezing when switching modes. I would really appreciate some help with stopping it from auto shutting off as I have called Polk and they did not help me

My Polk soundbar keeps turning off after 10-15 minutes. I have tried holding down power and volume down simultaneously for ten seconds. Total failure, any suggestions?

The soundbar has an automatic standby mode if there's no signal coming in for around 15 minutes.

It's part of the soundbar's software and can't be disabled.
