SVS sucks..........no ultra 16 even though it's listed as on sale it's out of stock at 12 noon. SVS doesn't do backorder or rainchecks but they did call back to tell me this. I guess I'll cross SVS off my list of candidates and my sub search continues

They ran out of pb2000s at Christmas when I wanted one and their website suggested looking to their Amazon partners. Just a thought... -
I was on the site at 11 Central and there was plenty of the higher end units ( 3000 and 4000 going for 400 ++ off but by the time I decided on pulling the trigger, gone. I did pick up a SB 2000 pro from the sale and it's supped to be here Friday. Am I the only one who thinks SVS "sales" are more marketing hype than substance? Typically seems to be a meager 10% which is basically b-stock pricing. 🥱

I did get a call back and the fellow was supposed to "look around" for me. I'm hoping but not too optimistic. Why an outfit would start a sale with no merchandise to sell is what I'm wondering.

When I was looking there were both PB16s and SB16s but by the time I read the descriptioms and added them to my cart they were gone. There were at least 8 PB16s and 5 SB16s when I was looking. It seemed like they went live a little early 11:57 I think.2 Channel

I placed my order at 12:01 for an SB16 and they were gone. Maybe today Dennis Miller will call me with one that he "found". -
I forgot til like 2 pm central time. All that was on sale then was the 1000’s. I agree with above. Not much available for sale prices?

Thanks for posting this. After poking around a bit my research shows the Rythmik f15hp should at least be an excellent alternative to the svs sb16 ultra and possibly even better. I wonder if Rythmik ever runs any sales? -

Well Mr. Miller called back and he came through for me with a new SVS sb16 ultra. Now I'm going to have to retract my prior statement about SVS. The only bad part about this whole deal was my wife was standing there when he called and overheard the entire transaction. "You paid how much for a subwoofer??"

This monster really gets the job done and I've already forgotten all about the antique 18'' sub it replaced.

Luckily I've been blessed with a good back; knock on wood and that 122lb sub wasn't really bad to move at all. Now those 147lb amps they were all I could muster to carry them in alone. -
