MW6511 Replacement

I am down to my last vintage mw6511 and am looking for a replacement for my SDA 2b tl speakers. I read in a post that RD 6110-1 were a good choice however Polk CS says they are not available. Mid West Speaker recommends MW-6502-4. Do you guys agree or have a better recommendation?

Thank you in advance.

How/why are you damaging the mid-drivers?

I am not sure. This was one of a pair of original me 6511 drivers I bought from another polkie. I found it wasn’t working the other day. I replaced it and now back up and running.

Looks like the wire is missing from the left tab. Dynamat should never be placed over that area...wow...bad idea whoever did that...ruined the MW.

Glue up the ones that still work. You can see if member lawdogg will accept your damaged one in exchange for one he has repaired.

The one Midwest sells is a one model fits all, it's not an exact match. If course, you can shop eBay for an exact match.
