How well will my Pioneer SC-27 pair with Reserve line speakers?
Looking to update my Front channel speakers from ADS 780’s to R-200 (or L200’s if money were no object)
Thoughts?

You know you have an hour to edit correct? 😁
It should work well. The pioneer class D amps are pretty stellar. -
I used to have an SC27. The Ice amp in it was darn good. You should be fine.Klipsch The Nines, Audioquest Thunderbird Interconnect, Innuos Zen MK3 W4S recovery, Revolution Audio Labs USB & Ethernet, Border Patrol SE-I, Audioquest Niagara 5000 & Thunder, Cullen Crossover II PC's.

Yep. The SC27 was a $2K receiver when it came out about 11 to 12 years ago. The amp will output more than 200 watts to a 4 ohm load in stereo mode at low distortion. About half that for all channels driven at max continuously which nobody does anyway. This is why I called these Pioneer receivers with high quality class D amps game changers for home theater use when they started. I still have two of them that are more recent models.

You really want the front 3 speakers to be timbre matched for the best results.
I agree with the others, your Pioneer AVR will have no problems driving the Reserve or Legend series speakers.Political Correctness'.........defined
