TAS - 7 Speakers for Any Budget

Picked up the latest TAS the other day, and was happy to see a Rosso product right there on the cover. Feature article is "7 speakers for any budget," and it has a few of the usual suspects, but with a pretty glowing write up of the Elba 2. The one thing that stood out to me was just how often they mentioned the smoothness of the sound. That's really what sold me on the Rosso lines to start, and has kept me happy and listening to mine.

All the speakers in the line up for reference:
Elac Uni-Fi 2.0
Sonus Faber Lumina
GoldenEar BRX
Focal Chora 826
Spendor A4
Rosso Fiorentino Elba A2
Dali Rubicon 6 C
Analog: MoFi MasterTracker > MoFi UltraDeck > Sutherland 20/20
Digital: Cambridge CXC / Streaming > Cambridge CXN v2
MastersounD Dueventi > Rosso Fiorentino Certaldo or Arcam rHead > Hifiman HE4XX

I had a cat grin from ear to ear when "one of the big boys" review echoed what I wrote about the Elba 2's.
It's the April issue of The Absolute Sound.

Guess that means it's time to get you on staff with the big pubs!

I have been absolutely enthralled with my Elba 2s.
I have honestly had no desire to even sample other gear since I got them.

I’m guessing that Skip is also enthralled with the review.

I have heard the Elba 2 a few times. While I do not own them, I will say they are a very good sounding speaker. I am glad to see another glowing review of them!
