If I replace my bad plate amp with either an external amp or replacement plate amp, should the two 10" drivers be connected in parallel or series?

    Thanks for the information. My unit powers up and can detect the presence of a signal but no little or no output. I removed the plate amp and did a visual inspection for anything obvious. I did find a transistor on the amp board with a couple insufficient wetting solder joints that I touched up. I wish I had your old post while I had it apart.
