So I was looking to upgrade my set of my monitor 4.6's and see that its a 13.5uf cap. If you have upgraded yours, could you please help me decide what to use. should I go with a 13uf or 15uf or 2 6.8? and how did you mount them? I was also looking to replace my sl2500 and found a set of monitor 4.6 on CL that already had the rd0198 installed for $75 so I pick them up.

Nice score! I think your only option is the 2 6.8 uF caps.
Don't have any experience with the 4.6 crossover but I would try to mount the caps with some cushioning tape underneath, either single adhesive side or double, and cable ties. I used some Frost King white epdm ribbed weatherstrip tape when I recapped my 7B's.

The 4.6s are great bookshelfs. I used Sonicaps. Contact Sonic Craft, and ask if they can check their inventory for 13.5ufs. If not, two 6.8ufs in parallel will get you there.
The crossovers themselves are tiny, so you'll have to get creative.Home Theater/2 Channel:

Thanks... I was thinking of using a different terminal plate and mounting the crossovers on the inside back wall, Solder some wires from the new terminals to the original ones.M7's 1982 Peerless tweeters

I remember seeing this upgrade:

^^ Wow that was a joy reading through that. Thanks for posting the link! Must've driven some people here crazy, as much as it intrigued and delighted others

@dromunds...he had them on CL before and wanted $125 (i think). He reposted them a few months later at $75 and they were there for a few weeks so I finally bit, and he even meet me halfway, saving me about an hour in drive time... (wife just came downstairs and gave me "the look" as she noticed a definite build up of speakers)M7's 1982 Peerless tweeters
