Monster Cable Terminators

I have a pair of good monster cable (not sure which model, but they are at least a 12g and were the best speaker cables in the store when it closed out everything) with a pin type terminator. It really doesn't fit the speakers to well. Should I cut them off and replace them, or is having the factory conection at the end better?

Cut them and buy the Monster lock system. Then you can change the tips at will. They use a screw on end which is nice, the base gets crimped on.

Cut away and reterminate. If your unconfortable, stop by your local Tweeter and get some help there.

Willow, I have them inserted through the hole under the binding post screw, but the ends are so bulky (not the pin part), that it just doesn't look like it gets a good conection (if you move the speaker around, they will fall out).

I might check out that Monster Lock thing and replace both ends.

    thanks for the advise.
