Wireworld Platinum Eclipse

A couple of them have landed... will do some experimentations in the lab shortly.

Platinum Eclipse 7 RCA
Platinum Eclipse 7 XLR

I underestimated the connections, I need another RCA to complete the loop from the Table to the Boulder. 🤦🏻‍♂️

    Nice snag Joey!
I’ve got the XLR‘s in my system and they sound so good. However, in my system, there’s a bit too much gain

Put me in line for the RCA’s if they don’t work out for you

    Congratulations and happy new year!

Honestly, I don’t understand the concept where I should be utilizing more of the volume control real estate. Just thought I’d try to use more of that volume control by switching over to RCA

    Hey Doc!

Initial thoughts on the Pt Eclipse 7 ?

How do balanced compare to RCA in your rig?

    Hey skrol
Thx man... her name is Eleanor... lovingly referred to as Lala.
Emma thought she was a stranger living in our house for the first 2.5 years. It was a recent development that they just became friends.

To be honest... I'm a little underwhelmed that this is their best.

    That’s disheartening . . .

I’ve got little experience with all that’s out there. I like my WW Plat Starlight USB ... a lot.
It was a dSkip recommendation that worked well with my last DAC. Works well with my new Lampi, too.

But I would like to roll the Final Touch Audio Callisto usb that garners stellar reviews

Keep me in mind if you’re going to be moving the RCAs

That's the typical response when hearing something extremely well balanced and neutral.

I would probably need a little more time to test it some more. I need to try how it pairs with the Emm SACD transport vs just the streamer at the helm.

It's a little early to say, but I didnt notice a significant improvement to the sound for the price I paid.

It would be perfect if I could hear the AQ Fire in the same system at the same time. Will need some more time.

I don't notice a significantly tighter image for example.
I don't notice a better image height either.
There's definitely a more put together image, there is less fuzz around the fringe of the imaging - but I would need more than just that.
