If you are streaming free radio from around the world, which imo is a great function, Marantz streaming devices are now requiring a 3 dollar annual fee through "vtuner". So if you are wondering where all your stations went, check out RadioMarantz.com.
I just paid so time to see what happens!

Instant access....I will say for everyday listening, my refurbed Marantz NA6005 is perfect. I really dont know if it does hi res, but thats what I have the Auralic for. Peace.

Vtuner doesn't support flac channels but these are the best sound quality stations offered for free that I've found and you have to add them manually through vtuner. If you have already added and saved these channels you still have access to them without paying.

You want 320k ACC, that's the best you can get through vtuner.

Yeah I guess the bummer for me was I never really "added" my favorite channels to the tuner. So when Marantz went to this 3.00 annual fee, I was stuck with a small number of channels only to still be able to access. Perhaps theres a way to manually add your URLs but for 3.00 a year....good to know though.

Am I missing something here?

Is that your nice way of saying I'm cheap? -
No, it's my way of saying the world is whacked.
I must be getting old -- 'cause I thought free would mean, like, one didn't have to pay for it.
I mean, yeah, I know there's no free lunch but even google doesn't make me write 'em a check every month.
PS I swear that I thought that Radio Marantz.com was gonna be like Radio Caroline or suchlike...

I just wanted to spread the word about some good quality channels that you can listen to through vtuner. It's not lossless, but the 320k ACC sounds very good for internet radio. You can listen to flac quality through their website and connect your laptop to your dac via USB. This method lets you skip a song you don't like and go to the next song and it brings up all the info on the song you are listening to and it's free. Like really free. Most of the free internet channels offer such bad sound quality that $3 per year is $2.99 too much.

OK, I see. That's cool...
I'm still... free... for 3 dollars a year... mmm...

Yeah, Radio Paradise that Hermitism is talking about is pretty good.I disabled signatures.

I just used my HomePod and AppleTV. I get a bunch of radio stations from all over the world that sound excellent, but I don’t know the precise details. The service is offered through TuneIn and there are no commercials.Alea jacta est!
