Monitor 70 and Bluetooth/TV
This weekend I inherited a pair of Monitor 70s. Initially I thought w'd stand them up on either side of the Samsung TV, but the wife nixed that for aesthetics. So I'd like to have them stand behind the couch where my we watch TV. The Samsung TV can output audio via Bluetooth. What do I need to make this harebrained idea of mine work?

Put them in front of the couch.

Just give them to someone else. That's a terrible idea.

Hello,
Welcome to Club Polk!
You could use a good quality integrated amplifier with Bluetooth builtin, such as:
Denon PMA-600NE for example. -

Do you realize what you have? They are nice two channel or home theater speakers that need a nice reviewer or amplifier. @KennethSwauger is trying to help you and that’s a good idea, but you would either have to 1. Have the receiver by the TV and run wires to the speakers or 2. Have the receiver by the couch with a place to plug it in...Living Room 2.2: Usher BE-718 "tiny dancers"; Dual DIY Dayton audio RSS210HF-4 Subs with Dayton SPA-250 amps; Arcam SA30; Musical Fidelity A308; Sony UBP-x1000es
